This rumor gets circulated almost every year, but this year it might have teeth. With power cruisers all the rage, and the original power cruiser designed by Yamaha now more than a decade old, 2003 could be the year for a new V-Max.
If it actually happens, expect a “take no prisoners” horsepower level, combined with monstrous torque from a V-4 displacing approximately 1500cc. A debut could occur at the Munich show later this year. Stay tuned.
