The big news at Monza today was the victory of a non-Suzuki in Race Two. Race One was won by points leader Troy Corser (Suzuki) ahead of second place teammate Yukio Kagayama, with Ducati’s defending champ James Toseland third.
The breakthrough for Suzuki’s competitors came in Race Two, where Chris Vermeulen (Honda), who had retired from Race One, took a narrow victory over Regis Laconi (Ducati) with Corser finishing third.
Corser still has a huge points lead in the championship. For additional details, results and points, visit the official WSB site here.
