Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) lost the MotoGP race at Sepang today, finishing second, but secured his seventh World championship (including five in a row in the premier class). Victory went to Ducati’s Loris Capirossi for the second race in a row. Indeed, Ducati put two riders on the podium when Carlos Checa finished third today.
