Only one race was held at the Imola round of the WSB championship today due to heavy rain covering the track before the scheduled start of race two. Race one, on a drying track, was won by Chris Vermeulen (Honda) who edged Troy Corser (Suzuki) in second and Noriyuki Haga (Yamaha) in third.
