Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki) and James Stewart (Kawasaki) had another epic battle in San Diego this evening in the AMA Supercross series main event. Stewart came out on top after passing Carmichael with just a couple of laps remaining in the race. Carmichael finished second ahead of Chad Reed (Yamaha).
In the Supercross Lites division, Andrew Short (Honda) held on for the win ahead of a hard-charging Grant Langston (Kawasaki). Finishing third was Nathan Ramsey (KTM).
Carmichael continues to hold the points lead in the AMA Supercross series, while Andrew Short has a one point lead in the Supercross Lites Western Region over Grant Langston.
