The first half of the AMA Superbike double header held at Infineon Raceway earlier today was won by Ben Spies (Suzuki) — his fifth AMA Superbike win in a row. The race featured another relatively close battle between Spies and teammate Mat Mladin, the defending AMA Superbike champ. Mladin finished second ahead of Honda’s Miguel Duhamel.
