When Kawasaki introduced the Vulcan 2000 last year, it was intended to leap to the top of the V-twin performance heap in a single bound. Kawasaki succeeded (in terms of engine performance, at least).
Kawasaki has made quite a bit of noise about new products “in the pipeline”. It has also made no bones about its intention to be the performance leader with the new models it introduces. So, what’s next?
Kawasaki displayed a sport tourer as a concept a couple of years ago. It was very futuristic, but certainly featured many design characteristics that could reach production. Will we see a new, high-tech sport tourer from Kawasaki for 2005? Don’t be surprised if it happens.
