James Stewart (Kawasaki) won his fifth straight AMA Supercross main event in Detroit this evening, padding his series points lead over Chad Reed (Yamaha) who finished second tonight. Stewart’s teammate, Tim Ferry, finished third.
In the final round of the AMA Eastern Region Supercross lites series, Ben Townley (Kawasaki) secured the championship with a second place finish this evening. The Lites main event was won by Ryan Dungey (Suzuki), with Thomas Hahn (Honda) finishing third.
