The AMA Motocross championship visited the Millville track earlier this weekend, and Suzuki’s Chad Reed took the overall win in the 450 category with 2/1 moto finishes, while Ivan Tedesco (Honda; 5/2) finished second overall and Michael Byrne (Suzuki; 3/4) was third. Reed has the points lead in the 450 class championship series.
In the 250 class, Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) took the win with a perfect 1/1, while Christophe Pourcel (Kawasaki; 2/2) finished second overall ahead of Justin Barcia (Honda; 3/3). Pourcel has a slim lead in the championship series over Dungey.
