Yamaha’s James Stewart won his second AMA Supercross championship last evening in Las Vegas, Nevada with a third place finish in the main event. Arch rival Chad Reed (Suzuki) made an aggressive pass on Stewart midway through the race to finish second behind Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki), who took his second win in a row.
In the East/West Lites shootout, Christophe Pourcel (Kawasaki) took the win over second place Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) and third place Trey Canard (Honda).
