Honda’s Kevin Windham won his third AMA Supercross main event in St. Louis this evening ahead of Yamaha’s Chad Reed in second place and Andrew Short (Honda) in third. Reed is still suffering from a separated shoulder that resulted from a crash he had last weekend. Reed now has a slim 13 point lead in the championship series with two rounds remaining.
In the final main event of the Eastern Region Supercross Lites series, Honda’s Trey Canard took the win, and the series championship, while Branden Jesseman (Kawasaki) finished in second place, and Josh Grant (Honda) finished third. Defending champion Ryan Villopoto (Kawasaki) finished fourth in the race and second in the championship series.
