Ben Spies (Suzuki) took advantage of a crash and DNF by teammate Mat Mladin today in Race One of the Miller Motorsports Park AMA Superbike double-header by winning the race and taking the points lead in the championship series. Finishing second to Spies was Kawasaki’s Jamie Hacking, with Honda’s Neil Hodgson third.
