James Stewart (Yamaha) took his sixth consecutive win at Round 7 of the AMA Supercross series held at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium. Chad Reed (Suzuki) took second place, with Andrew Short (Honda) coming in third. Stewart and Reed are now tied for the series points lead.
In the Western Region Lites main event, Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) took his third victory of the season ahead of second place Ryan Morais (Kawasaki) and third place Jake Weimer (Kawasaki). Dungey has regained the lead in the series.
