MD’s Editor Dirck Edge and Trail Boss Tours’ Chris Steward Having Fun in Baja
Sometimes, you just have to chill out and have fun on a motorcycle. Play riding helps your head and your riding skills. That’s exactly what I did in Mexico this past weekend with Trail Boss Tours.
Riding Suzuki’s excellent DR-Z400E, my son Alex (on a KDX220, courtesy of Temecula Motorsports) and I were guests of Trail Boss’ owners Chris and Nan Steward. An extensive review of their excellent adventure in Northern Baja, California (Mexico) will be posted in a week or so. For now, I wanted to offer a few pictures as a flavor of our trip.
The scenery in Mexico is truly beautiful. The diversity of the land, and the open and friendly nature of the people really made this trip — the riding was just a great bonus.
Chris Steward is not only a great off-road rider and entertaining host, he is a former national roadrace champion. He knows Baja like the back of his hand, and he made this adventure special with his local knowledge and free-flowing approach.
Stayed tuned for our attempt at real journalism with an in-depth review of this Baja adventure.
